Powell River Accomodations

Sunrise Room is named because it faces East which means you get the advantage of seeing the rays of sunshine first thing in the morning.  A queen bed with a sealy posture-pedic mattress allows for a great nights sleep.  We have installed cork flooring which offers a warm feel to the feet plus is non allergetic.

There is a table and 2 chairs in the bedroom to do paperwork or play cards at in the privacy of your own space.

Watch the news in bed with the newly installed 32 inch Panasonic LCD television.  Robes and slippers are supplied for your convenience.

The bright, private bathroom adjacent to the room features a full 3-way mirrored vanity and a fibreglass tub surround enclosure for either a relaxing bath or a quick shower.  In the cooler seasons the floor in front of the lavatory is heated, making for a nice touch.

Serenity Ensuite is a cheery room, very versatile in that it features a queen and a twin bed.  Please specify if you wish one or two beds when reserving.  Our guests enjoy the peacefulness of this room as the colours of jade green, rust and peach toned floral designed linens create a restful ambience.  Wildlife and bird prints adorn the walls.  We have installed cork flooring which offers a warm feeling to the feet and is non-allergetic.

The tub area has a lovely surround unit for a relaxing bath or enjoyable shower.  The morning sun from the large skylight warms you as you step out of the tub and a fancy obscured glass block wall divides the bedroom from the tub area.  The lavatory area is very bright in that it gets the morning sun and features an obscure rain pattern on the window.

The Sunrise Room and Serenity Ensuite rooms share our bright and cozy living room complete with Lazy Boy recliners and a telescope for the avid birdwatcher.  The view is unsurpassed as one sees expanses of water and the snowcapped mountains of Vancouver Island.  In the spring sea lions, seals, eagles and a variety of birds add to your viewing pleasure.
